The £4.99 service fee does not apply to contracts under £50. Pro's two hunts are the 10 contact pack and the Employer plan's hunt is the 20 contact pack; ZB Hunter packs are open to every plan from £15. Employers pay no commission; the member's commission applies to the member's side of the deal. Author Pro is Member Pro at half price for the first year, paid yearly, with the author package builder to choose your own marketing.

Good to know
How the money works
Posting and hiring never create a ZOMZEY charge. Commission applies only when a member earns through a completed paid deal, funded through ZOMZEY Protected Payments, powered by PayPal and Stripe. ZOMZEY has no cut of work you did not earn through ZOMZEY and adds no hidden platform fee to the agreed deal price.
When Pro pays for itself
Two 10 contact hunts a month would cost £30 bought separately, so a member who hunts even once a month is ahead before the fees change. On top of that, £500 of completed deals in a month saves £30 in commission, and every contract keeps its £4.99 service fee. By comparison, the large freelance platforms charge £20 to £49 a month for their member plans and still take 10% to 20% of earnings.
When the Employer plan pays for itself
One hire a year saves £150 on the release fee, which covers more than a quarter of the yearly plan on its own, and the monthly 20 contact hunt is worth £27 bought separately. Employers who post more than one vacancy or hire more than once a year are ahead; an employer with a single occasional hire stays on the free route and pays the £299 release fee only when a hire happens.
When an agency plan makes sense
Agency plans are for anyone representing other members: a talent agency, a management company or a studio. One account holds the whole roster, each represented member keeps their own profile and deals, and ZSplit pays your agreed commission to you automatically when a deal pays out, with no invoicing between you. Agency Pro suits up to six represented members; Agency Max removes the limit and adds an invite link for onboarding.

Do I need to choose a type of account?
No. One Member account does everything; a paid plan only adds benefits on top of it.
Is it free to hire or post work?
Yes. Posting opportunities, reading proposals and talking to members cost nothing on any plan.
Can I pay monthly?
Yes. Pro is £29.99 a month or £299 a year, and the Employer plan is £49 a month or £490 a year; the yearly price is two months free. Agency plans are yearly.
When should I upgrade to Pro?
When you complete about £500 of paid deals in a month, or when you want the two free hunts and Premier placement. Below that, Free costs nothing to keep.
Which payment methods are supported?
ZOMZEY Protected Payments is powered by PayPal and Stripe. Availability can depend on the payment or payout flow and country.
Do employers pay to hire a member?
Reading a proposal and talking to a member costs nothing. If an employer goes ahead and hires or engages the member, ZOMZEY charges a single release fee of £299, with no percentage of salary and no other charge. On the Employer plan the release fee is £149 for every hire while subscribed.
Is there a deal for authors?
Yes. Author Pro is half price for the first year, £149.50 instead of £299, paid yearly only, and it renews at £299. You can cancel anytime and the plan runs to the end of the paid year. It includes building your own marketing, sales and traction package: choose any opportunities, contacts, a Social Boost and a Featured Author advert when you join, or choose nothing and just take the membership.
Can I cancel a paid plan?
Yes, at any time. Pro and the Employer plan run until the end of the paid period and then stop; nothing on your account is removed.
Are there any other fees?
No. Commission and, on Free, the £4.99 service fee are the only ZOMZEY charges on a deal; payment processing by PayPal or Stripe applies as it does everywhere. ZB Hunter packs and Social Boost are optional purchases at the prices on the ZB Hunter page.
