Trust and Safety

How ZOMZEY keeps you safe

Every deal on ZOMZEY happens between people who have usually never met. Our job is to make that feel not just possible but comfortable, for the Member paying for work, the Member delivering it, and the Agency representing talent. Here is exactly how we do it.

Your money is protected before any work starts

Every deal runs through Protected Payments, powered by PayPal and Stripe. When a Member accepts an offer, they pay the full amount up front, and Stripe, an authorised payment institution, holds it safely. The Member sees the deal is funded before they lift a finger, and the Member knows the money only moves when they approve the finished work. ZOMZEY never holds your money itself. Nobody chases invoices, nobody works on a promise, and nobody pays for work they never receive.

You approve before anything is released

When work is delivered, the Member has a review period to check it against what was agreed. Approve it, and payment releases to the talent immediately. Something not right? Raise it before release and the money stays protected while it gets sorted.

If something goes wrong, you are covered

Any deal can hit a bump. Either side can raise a dispute at any point after funding, and the money stays held while it is resolved. Disputes are handled by real people under our published Dispute Resolution Policy, with a target of resolution well inside 60 days. No shouting matches, no vanishing counterparties, a process.

Real numbers, not claimed numbers

Members can connect their social accounts so their audience figures are validated from the platforms themselves, earning a validation badge Members can rely on. And every completed deal builds a member’s track record and star tier on the platform, reputation here is earned through delivered work, not written in a bio.

Everything stays on the platform, deliberately

Profiles carry no outside links, contact details or socials, and all conversations happen in ZOMZEY Messages. That is not us being precious, it is your protection: deals done on the platform are funded, recorded, protected and covered by our dispute process. The moment someone asks you to take a deal off the platform, every one of those protections disappears, which is why our rules forbid it and why we act on it.

Agencies are accountable too

Agencies on ZOMZEY represent their talent in the open: their roster is public, their pitches are marked, and talent joins an agency only by its own choice and can leave the same way. An agency that uses the platform to find talent but takes the work elsewhere loses its membership permanently, without refund. Representation here means responsibility.

Your data is yours

We are a UK company operating under UK GDPR. We collect what we need to run the platform, we tell you what we do with it in plain English in our Privacy Policy, and payment details are held by Stripe, never stored by us.

If you see something, tell us

Every member can report a concern, about a profile, a message, an opportunity or a deal, through our Report a concern page. Reports go straight to our team, they are reviewed by a human, and we act under our Acceptable Use Policy, from warnings to permanent removal.

Trust and safety on ZOMZEY: your questions

Who holds the money while a deal is open?

Stripe, an authorised payment institution, not ZOMZEY. The Member pays the full amount when they accept an offer, Stripe holds it, and it is released to the Member only when the Member approves the finished work. ZOMZEY never holds your money itself, and payment details are held by Stripe, never stored by us. That is the foundation of trust and safety here.

What does trust and safety mean for a Member?

You never pay for work you do not receive. The deal is funded up front, you have a review period to check the delivery against what was agreed, and if something is not right you raise it before release and the money stays protected while it is sorted. Validated audience figures and reviews from completed deals tell you who you are dealing with before you accept an offer. Trust and safety for a Member is simply never being out of pocket for work that was not delivered.

What does trust and safety mean for an Influencer or a Hub?

You never work on a promise. You can see the deal is funded before you start, the written agreement on the deal page says what was promised, and approval releases the payment to you straight away. Your track record and star tier are built from delivered work, which is what Members compare when they choose. For talent, trust and safety means being paid for what you delivered, every time.

How are disputes handled?

By real people, under the published Dispute Resolution Policy, with a target of resolution well inside 60 days. Either side can raise a dispute at any point after funding, the money stays held while it is resolved, and the decision is made against the written record and the evidence on the deal page rather than against who argues loudest. Disputes are where trust and safety is tested, and the record is what settles them.

Why does trust and safety depend on everything staying on the platform?

Because every protection depends on it. Profiles carry no outside links or contact details and conversations happen in ZOMZEY Messages, so that deals done here are funded, recorded, protected and covered by the dispute process. The moment someone asks you to take a deal off the platform, those protections disappear, which is why the rules forbid it and why ZOMZEY acts on it.

How does trust and safety apply to agencies?

Agencies represent their talent in the open: the roster is public, pitches are marked, and talent joins an agency by its own choice and can leave the same way. An agency that uses the platform to find talent but takes the work elsewhere loses its membership permanently, without refund. Representation on ZOMZEY means responsibility.

Does trust and safety cover the advertising rules?

Yes, in the sense that honest labelling is part of a safe deal. A paid or gifted post is an ad in the UK, and the ASA and CMA Influencers’ Guide explains the labels that count. Build the label into the brief, and both sides are protected from a complaint as well as from a bad deal.

What is a validation badge?

Proof that an Member has connected their social accounts so that their audience figures come from the platforms themselves rather than being typed in. It is one of the trust and safety signals Members can rely on when they compare offers, alongside reviews and the star tier.

What happens when I report a concern?

The report goes to the ZOMZEY team as a support ticket, a real person reviews it, and action is taken under the Acceptable Use Policy, from a warning to permanent removal. The person reported is not told who raised the concern, and where money is involved the funds stay protected while it is looked into. Reporting is part of trust and safety for everyone, not only for the person affected.

In short, trust and safety on ZOMZEY comes down to five things: funded before work starts, released only when approved, disputes covered, numbers validated, and everything on the record. If you see something that does not look right, report a concern and a person will review it.

The short version

Funded before work starts. Released only when approved. Disputes covered. Numbers validated. Everything on the record. That is ZOMZEY.
