How ZOMZEY fees work
ZOMZEY is free to join for everyone, and Members post opportunities free. Members pay only when they earn: on the Free plan that's 14.99% commission plus a £4.99 service fee per deal, and on Pro it's 9.99% with no service fee at all. If you're represented by an Agency on the platform, your deals run at the 9.99% rate with no service fee whatever plan you're on. The commission comes out when your payment is released, never before. Every deal is funded up front by the Member and held safely as Protected Payments, powered by PayPal and Stripe, you see the money is there before you start, and it's released to you the moment your work is approved.
When does Pro pay for itself?
The calculator does the honest maths above: on every deal, Pro keeps an extra 5% plus the £4.99 fee in your pocket. Regular earners cover the cost of Pro fast, and everything after that is pure extra. If you're just starting out, stay on Free, win some deals, and upgrade when the numbers above tell you to. No pressure, the maths is the maths.

Is the What You Keep Calculator accurate?
Yes, for the fees ZOMZEY charges. It applies the published rates to the deal value you enter: 14.99% commission plus a £4.99 service fee per deal on the Free plan, 9.99% with no service fee on Pro, and 9.99% with no service fee on any deal where you are represented by an agency. There are no other platform fees, so the figure it shows is the figure that is paid out.
Does the What You Keep Calculator include tax?
No. It shows the payout after ZOMZEY’s commission and service fee, before your own tax. Income from paid promotion is usually taxable, and GOV.UK explains when to register as self-employed and the trading allowance that covers small amounts. The deal page keeps the payout record you need for your accounts.
When does the fee come out?
When your payment is released, never before. The Member funds the deal up front under Protected Payments, powered by PayPal and Stripe, the money is held while you deliver, and the commission is taken from the payment at the moment it is released to you.
