This policy is provided in line with the UK Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR) and the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR).
2. What cookies are

3.5 Affiliate tracking cookie
- Affiliate tracking cookie. If you arrive at Zomzey via an affiliate’s referral link, we set a cookie so the referring affiliate is credited if you sign up or purchase. This cookie lasts up to 360 days. It identifies the referral source only and is not used for advertising.
4. Third-party cookies we use
We work with trusted third-party services that may set cookies on your device when you use the Platform. These include:
- Stripe and Stripe Connect — payment processing, fraud prevention, and identity verification
- Google Analytics 4 — usage analytics and Platform improvement
- Google Search Console — search performance measurement
- YouTube, X (Twitter), Instagram, TikTok and other embedded media — when video, post, or social content is embedded on the Platform, those providers may set their own cookies
- Customer support tools — live chat and help-desk providers may set cookies to maintain conversation state
- Email marketing providers — open-rate and click-tracking pixels in marketing emails (subject to your consent)

Some browsers offer a “Do Not Track” setting. There is currently no universal industry standard for how websites should respond to Do Not Track signals. The Platform respects the cookie preferences you set through our consent banner; the Do Not Track signal itself is not separately honoured.
8. Cookie retention
Cookies have different lifespans:
- Session cookies are deleted when you close your browser
- Persistent cookies stay on your device for a set period (typically up to 13 months for analytics, longer for some functional cookies, shorter for security tokens)
You can delete persistent cookies at any time using your browser controls or the consent banner.

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time as we add new features or new third-party services. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects when material changes were made. Significant changes may be notified through the Platform or by email.
