A Influencer normally reaches people through their own content and personal audience. A Hub reaches people through an outlet, place, organisation, publication, membership, distribution channel or established community.

What you need to know

  • A reviewer, presenter, YouTuber or podcaster is usually a Influencer.
  • A bookshop, library, venue, club, newsletter brand, subscription box, retailer or trade publication is usually a Hub.
  • Some users could genuinely qualify for both roles; use the role that matches the deliverable being offered.
  • Pioneers can combine Influencer and Hub deals to reach the same audience in complementary ways.
