Open the opportunity from your dashboard. While it is still open and no deal has been funded, you can normally correct details, update requirements or close it. Once an accepted offer has become a funded deal, manage changes through the deal rather than simply deleting the opportunity.
What you need to know
- Make small corrections promptly so new viewers see accurate information.
- Where offers already exist, tell affected users about any material change to scope, budget, date or eligibility.
- Close the opportunity when you no longer need pitches or have selected enough partners.
- Do not use opportunity deletion to avoid an existing funded commitment; use agreement, cancellation or dispute tools.
