Can I be more than one role?

You can be more than one role on ZOMZEY with a single account. This article explains how more than one role works.

Your chosen description and the tools available to your account are different things. Do not assume that choosing a description lets you switch freely between buying, supplying and Agency work.

Being more than one role

  • An Author who joins to buy promotion uses a different working path from an Author who joins to earn from their audience or content. Both can keep Author as their public identity.
  • Band, Musician and Singer accounts deliberately support both promoting their music and earning from suitable collaborations without changing their Music identity.
  • Being represented by an Agency does not turn the represented member into an Agency account.
  • Contact Fluent Support before a change that needs a different account structure. Do not create a duplicate account or delete your current profile to work around an unfinished signup or identity change.
  • Do not assume multiple public identities or self-service account-type switching are available unless the live screen explicitly provides them.

One account, more than one role

Yes. A ZOMZEY account can both post opportunities, which is what a Pioneer does, and send offers, which is what an Influencer or Hub does. The path you choose at signup sets how your profile is described, not what you are allowed to do. A band can promote its own release and accept paid promotion from a brand; a shop can earn from its window and also pay a creator to promote a sale.

The exception

Agencies are different. An Agency account represents other members and has its own profile, roster and tools, and it stays distinct from the member profiles it represents. Bands, musicians and singers keep their Music profile while doing both of the other things.

If you need the description changed

Your public description is self declared and separate from permissions. If it needs to change, ask support rather than opening a second account, which would split your reviews and deal history.

Common questions about being more than one role

Do I need two accounts to be more than one role?

No. One account can both promote and earn. The signup option sets the side you use first, your single public description labels you, and the offer explains what you are bringing to each deal. Duplicate accounts for the same person are not allowed.

Is there a cost to being more than one role?

No. Joining is free, the platform commission applies to completed deals whichever side you are on, and optional memberships are chosen per account rather than per role.

How does being more than one role work for Music accounts?

Band, Musician and Singer accounts are built for it: they keep a Music identity and act like a Pioneer when promoting a release and like an Influencer when a brand pays for their audience.

Can an Agency be more than one role?

An Agency account is a business membership for representing others. If the people behind an agency also create or run a venue themselves, ask Fluent Support how best to arrange it rather than creating duplicate accounts.

Will being more than one role confuse members looking at my profile?

Not if the bio says plainly what you promote and what audience you offer. The description is your primary label; the bio carries the rest.

In short, being more than one role means one account, one description and a bio and offers that explain both sides, with Music accounts built for exactly that and Agencies handled as businesses.
