Can an Agency represent a Band, Musician or Singer?

An Agency can represent a band, musician or singer. This article explains how to represent a band or artist on ZOMZEY.

Yes. Music accounts can be represented through the same consent-first Agency architecture used for eligible talent. Representation does not change the Music account into an Agency or Influencer.

When an Agency can represent a band

  • You can indicate that you are open to Agency invitations where the profile control is available.
  • An Agency cannot silently add you to its roster; a valid relationship must use the approved consent flow.
  • Your current representation and any recorded term can be shown in the profile controls.
  • Ending representation removes the Agency link but keeps your profile and account intact.

Representation for music acts

Yes. An Agency on ZOMZEY can represent a Band, Musician or Singer in the same way it represents Influencers and Hubs. The act keeps its Music profile and identity, the agency’s badge appears across its roster, and the agency can pitch funded opportunities on the act’s behalf, including a complete package such as a live date, a podcast feature and a content campaign in one pitch.

How it works for the act

A music act can indicate that it is open to Agency invitations where that profile control is available, and it joins an agency only by its own choice and can leave the same way. Representation does not turn a Music account into an Agency or an Influencer account. Agency deals run at 9.99% commission with no service fee, and if the agency uses ZSplit its agreed percentage is paid automatically when the act is paid, with the processing fee charged on the agency’s share only.

Finding the right agency

Agency rosters and pitches are public on ZOMZEY, so an act can see who an agency already represents before agreeing to join. The Agencies page and the music promotion page have more.

Common questions about how to represent a band

Can an Agency represent a band that is already on ZOMZEY?

Yes. The band links to your agency through the consent process from its existing Music account, keeping its profile, history and dual-purpose tools. Nothing is re-created.

What can I pitch when I represent a band?

Brand collaborations, venue and festival bookings posted as funded opportunities, content deals with podcasts and creators, and promotion of the band’s own releases. One agency pitch can combine several of these for a launch.

How is commission handled when I represent a band?

Roster deals run at 9.99% commission with no service fee, and your agreed percentage can be paid through ZSplit the moment the band is paid, with a processing fee on your share of 5% on Pro or 2.5% on Max.

Can I represent a band and a solo singer from the same act?

Yes. Each has its own Music account and each links to your roster separately, so a singer who also fronts a band can be represented for both without duplicating accounts.

Where do I find music acts to represent?

In Discover, filtering for Band, Musician and Singer and for members open to representation. Introduce yourself with your agency card, and the act decides whether to join your roster.

Keep each act’s representation terms in writing between you, because the platform records the deals but not the private commercial arrangement behind them.

In short, an Agency can represent a band, musician or singer through the normal consent process, pitch funded music and brand opportunities for them, and take its agreed share automatically through ZSplit.
