What are ZOMZEY Star tiers?
Star tiers recognise members based on their activity. This article explains what the ZOMZEY Star tiers are.
ZOMZEY Star tiers are earned reputation/status signals. They are separate from role colours, paid memberships and Agency Pro/Max badges.
Star tiers: what you need to know
- The live profile shows the tier that the platform has currently earned for that account.
- Tier colours are semantic and should not be manually chosen by the member.
- Refunds or transaction changes can affect tier calculations where the reputation engine uses completed deal history.
Common questions about Star tiers
How many tiers are there and how do I move up?
Tiers rise with completed deals, clear delivery evidence and positive reviews from the other side. The current tier names and thresholds are shown on your profile and on the Trust and Safety page; the way to move up is the same at every level, which is to deliver what you agreed, on time, on the platform.
Can a tier go down?
Yes. Disputes decided against you, cancelled deals and poor reviews count against the record, so the tier reflects recent performance rather than a one-off achievement. Consistent delivery keeps it where it is.
Does a paid membership raise my tier?
No. Pro and Agency memberships buy tools and better commission rates, not reputation. Validation badges from connected social accounts are a separate signal again. All three appear on a profile and each means something different.
Do Hubs and Agencies have tiers?
Every member type that completes deals builds a record, so a bookshop or a venue can earn its tier in the same way as a creator. Agencies have Agency Star, which recognises an agency’s own delivered activity across its roster.
Why does a new member have no tier?
Because there is no record yet. A first completed deal with good evidence and a fair review is the fastest way to start, which is one reason to accept a small first deal rather than hold out for a large one.
Do Star tiers affect commission or fees?
No. Commission rates come from your membership, shown on the pricing page, and a tier changes neither the rate nor any fee. What a higher tier changes is how often you are chosen: Pioneers filter and compare on it, and an agency considering representation reads it alongside your validated figures and reviews. Think of it as the reputation half of the profile, with validation as the audience half.
Reviews are left by the other member once a deal completes, and they are visible on your profile next to the tier, so ask for one politely at the end of every deal you are proud of.
In short, Star tiers are earned from completed deals and reviews, they can fall as well as rise, they cannot be bought, and every member type including Hubs and Agencies builds one by delivering.
