What are ZOMZEY Protected Payments?

ZOMZEY uses Protected Payments for platform deals.

What you need to know

• The Pioneer funds through the approved ZOMZEY payment flow.
• The supplier should wait for the funded state before starting paid work.
• Delivery, approval and payment status remain connected to the deal record.
• PayPal and Stripe power the payment processing where shown on the live platform.

How Protected Payments protect both sides

• Funded up front: when a Pioneer accepts an offer, they pay the full amount, and it is held by the payment provider, not by ZOMZEY.
• Visible to the supplier: the Influencer or Hub can see the deal is funded before they start, so nobody works on a promise.
• Released on approval: the money only moves when the Pioneer approves the finished work.
• Held during disputes: if something is not right, either side can raise a dispute after funding and the money stays held while it is resolved.

Why it is safer than paying direct

Deals done on ZOMZEY are funded, recorded and covered by the dispute process. If someone asks you to pay or be paid off the platform, those protections no longer apply. Read more on the Trust and Safety page.

Who pays for Protected Payments

Nobody pays extra for it. The cost sits inside the commission taken from the Influencer or Hub when the payment is released: 14.99% plus a £4.99 service fee per deal on the free plan, or 9.99% with no service fee on Pro. The Pioneer pays only the agreed price and pays no commission.

Good to know

• Outside the UK: Protected Payments work in any country where the payment provider supports payouts.
• Not a chargeback: a card chargeback sits outside the deal. Raise a dispute on ZOMZEY first, because the deal page holds the agreement and the evidence.
• Card details: are handled by the payment provider, and ZOMZEY never stores your card number.
