What do the three signup options mean?
ZOMZEY offers three signup options. This guide explains what the signup options mean so you can choose the one that fits you.
The signup options describe what you want to do, not a rigid public job title.
Signup options: what you need to know
- "You want others to promote what you have/do." means you are looking for promotion. Its supporting line is "Get sales, traction and audience."
- "You have followers, footfall, audience or fans." means you have a relevant audience, outlet, community or content opportunity to offer. Its supporting line is "e.g. influencers, shops, bands…"
- "Agencies." is the representation route, with "You represent talent, shops, community." underneath. It continues through paid Agency membership.
- For promotion or earning, Your Sector/Genre is where you choose the description that fits you. For music, Band, Musician and Singer retain their existing dual-purpose account.
- No option promises a result, and choosing a descriptive label does not bypass the actual account or payment rules.
Common questions about the signup options
Which of the signup options is right for a shop, venue or club?
Usually the second option, “You have followers, footfall, audience or fans”, because a shop window, a venue noticeboard or a club newsletter is audience you can offer. Choose the first option instead if the shop or venue mainly wants other people to promote it, for example to fill an event.
Can I change between the signup options later?
Public wording can be edited at any time, but moving between the promotion, earning and Agency sides changes the workflow your account runs on, so ask Fluent Support rather than opening a second account. Music members keep a dual-purpose account from the start.
Do the signup options cost anything?
The promotion and earning options are free to join with no subscription, and ZOMZEY earns a commission only when a deal completes. The Agencies option continues into the paid Agency Pro or Agency Max membership described on the pricing page.
Where does an Agency fit among the signup options?
The Agencies option is for businesses that represent other people’s talent, shops or communities rather than promoting or earning themselves. It leads into the paid Agency Pro or Agency Max membership, gives an agency profile and badge across the roster, and allows the agency to pitch funded opportunities on behalf of the members it represents. Talent joins an agency by its own choice and keeps its own account.
