The signup options describe what you want to do, not a rigid public job title.

What you need to know

• "You want others to promote what you have/do." means you are looking for promotion. Its supporting line is "Get sales, traction and audience."
• "You have followers, footfall, audience or fans." means you have a relevant audience, outlet, community or content opportunity to offer. Its supporting line is "e.g. influencers, shops, bands…"
• "Agencies." is the representation route, with "You represent talent, shops, community." underneath. It continues through paid Agency membership.
• For promotion or earning, Your Sector/Genre is where you choose the description that fits you. For music, Band, Musician and Singer retain their existing dual-purpose account.
• No option promises a result, and choosing a descriptive label does not bypass the actual account or payment rules.
