How do I build a strong Band, Musician or Singer profile?
A strong Music profile makes your identity, sound, audience, location and commercial possibilities easy to understand at a glance.
What you need to know
- Use a clear Main image because it is used across ZOMZEY.
- Add strong cover and supporting images and keep your headline and About section specific.
- Complete genres, audience/territory information, streaming or social channels, campaign preferences and showcase items.
- Singer profiles should use singer-specific identity and vocal type wording; Band and Musician profiles keep their own labels.
- Add your own lawful promotion, earning or representation idea when the preset choices do not fit.
Why the profile matters
Your Music profile is what a Pioneer, a venue or an Agency sees before they decide whether to contact you. A profile that answers the obvious questions quickly, who you are, what you sound like, where you play and who listens, gets more invitations and makes your own offers easier to accept.
The parts to get right first
- Main image: a clear photo of you or the band, or your logo. Your profile is listed in Discover and on the member map once it is published with a real main image and a country.
- Cover images: a few strong, well lit images of you on stage, in the studio or from a recent shoot.
- Headline and About: say your genre, where you are based and what you have released or played, in plain words.
- Channels and audience: connect your streaming and social channels so your audience figures are verified from the source.
- Collaborations: say which kinds of paid work you will consider, such as sponsored content, live appearances or audio integration.
Keeping it current
Update the profile when you release new music, announce dates or complete a deal. Each completed deal adds to your track record, which affects how you rank and how much work finds you.
Common questions about Music profiles
Should a band use a group photo or a logo?
Either works for the main image, as long as it is clear and you have the rights to it. Many bands use a group photo for the main image and put the logo in a cover image.
Does choosing Band, Musician or Singer change what I can do?
No. All three share the same Music profile and can both promote music and earn from collaborations. The choice sets the description shown on your profile.
Why is my Music profile not showing in Discover?
The usual reasons are a missing main image, no country, or a profile that has not been saved and published.
