How should I price an offer?
Pricing an offer well helps it get accepted. This guide explains how to price an offer on ZOMZEY.
Price an offer for the actual work, audience access, rights and practical commitment required, then check the live ZOMZEY fee display so you understand the expected net amount before you commit.
How to price an offer
- Consider preparation, production, posting or placement time, audience relevance, event capacity, travel and any third-party costs.
- Charge appropriately for broader licensing, paid-ad use, exclusivity, raw files, rush delivery or repeated revisions where those are part of the brief.
- Do not copy another profile price blindly; two audiences or placements can have very different commercial value.
- Make the total understandable so the Pioneer can compare offers fairly.
- If the scope changes materially, agree the change before doing extra work and use the supported offer/deal controls rather than relying on an undocumented side promise.
Common questions about how to price an offer
Should I price an offer higher to allow for commission?
Decide what you need to receive and work back. The commission rate for your membership is shown on the pricing page, and the deal page shows the net amount before you send the offer, so there is no guesswork.
How do I price an offer when I have no deal history?
Use the ZOMZEY calculators and the rate card template in the free tools, compare similar profiles in Discover, and start slightly below where you expect to settle. A completed deal with a good review is worth more to a new profile than a few pounds on the first price.
Can I price an offer in parts?
Yes. Separate the base content, extra usage rights and exclusivity, each with its own line and period. A Pioneer can then accept the parts it needs, and the record shows exactly what each sum bought.
Is it better to price an offer per post or per result?
Per deliverable. Results depend on the product and the market, and promising results is not allowed. Describe the audience and the placement honestly and let validated figures and reviews justify the price.
Can I change my price after I price an offer?
Until the Pioneer accepts, you can withdraw and resend an offer at a different price. After acceptance the price is part of the deal record, so a change needs the other member’s agreement on the deal page, or a new deal for extra work.
In short, price an offer from what you need to receive, use the calculators and comparable profiles as a guide, separate rights and exclusivity from the base content, and never price on promised results.
