These labels describe different stages of the protected transaction: money being provided for a deal, retained pending the workflow, released after the applicable approval process, returned, or placed into a dispute process.

What you need to know

  • Funded means the deal has reached the point where ZOMZEY shows the required funding is in place; suppliers should rely on the live deal status, not a message claiming payment was sent.
  • Held means money is still within the protected payment process and has not yet been paid out to the supplier.
  • Released means the protected process has authorised the applicable payment onward, subject to any processor or payout timing.
  • Refunded means some or all applicable funds have been returned through the payment process.
  • Disputed means release or refund is being contested or reviewed; do not treat the money as finally settled until the live deal status shows it.
