What happens if an Agency subscription changes, expires or is cancelled?

Agency subscription changes, expiry and cancellation affect your Agency tools. This article explains what happens when an agency subscription changes.

A change to Agency membership can change paid capabilities and roster capacity, but it should not silently delete represented people’s own ZOMZEY profiles or turn them into Agency-owned accounts.

Agency subscription: what you need to know

  • Review roster capacity and paid features before downgrading or cancelling an Agency plan.
  • Outstanding deals, payments, proposals or representation matters still need to be completed or resolved under the applicable rules.
  • Represented members keep their own profile identity; representation links must use the normal consent and unlink process.
  • If a downgrade would exceed the new plan’s current capacity, resolve the roster position rather than assuming members can remain beyond the limit.
  • Use support for subscription/account-state problems where the live membership screen does not provide the required action.

Before you downgrade or cancel

Check three things in your agency dashboard: how many members are on your roster against the capacity of the plan you are moving to, which paid features you rely on (for example the invite link, roster analytics, team seats or priority placement on Agency Max), and whether any deals, proposals, pitches or payments are still open. Those items do not pause because a subscription changes; they must be completed or resolved under the normal deal and payment rules.

What happens to represented members

Represented members are never owned by the Agency. Each keeps their own ZOMZEY profile, login, reviews and star tier whatever happens to your subscription, and a representation link is ended only through the consent and unlink process both sides agreed to. If a downgrade leaves the roster above the new plan’s limit, the surplus positions have to be resolved by you; the platform does not carry members silently over the limit.

Getting help

The live membership screen shows the current plan, renewal date and the options available to you. If it does not resolve a billing or account state question, contact support from the Support Hub with the agency name and the change you are trying to make. The comparison of Agency Pro and Agency Max is on the Agencies page and the pricing page.

Common questions about agency subscription changes

What happens to my roster when my agency subscription ends?

Represented members keep their own profiles, logins, reviews and Star tiers. A representation link ends only through the consent and unlink process, and if a downgrade leaves the roster above the new plan’s capacity the surplus positions must be resolved by you.

Does an agency subscription change affect open deals?

No deal pauses because a subscription changes. Outstanding pitches, proposals, deals and payments still have to be completed or resolved under the normal deal and payment rules, so review what is open before you downgrade or cancel.

Can I pause my agency subscription instead of cancelling?

The options available to you are shown on the live membership screen, together with your current plan and renewal date. If the screen does not resolve your question, contact support from the Support Hub with the agency name and the change you want to make.

Will an agency subscription renew automatically?

Agency Pro and Agency Max are annual plans and the live membership screen shows your renewal date and the controls available before it. Check it well ahead of renewal if you intend to change plan, so that roster capacity, team seats and paid tools are settled before the new term starts and nothing is lost mid-deal.

In short, review roster capacity, paid features and open work before changing an agency subscription, remember that represented members always keep their own accounts, and use the live membership screen or the Support Hub for anything the screen cannot settle.
