How do delivery, revisions, approval and the review window work?

Delivery, revisions and approval all happen inside the deal, followed by the review window. This guide explains each step.

Delivery, revisions and approval follow the live funded deal. The written scope and any agreed revision terms should be used to judge whether delivery is complete.

Review window: what you need to know

  • Do not start paid work before the funded state is shown.
  • Deliver through the current deal record and include the evidence agreed in the scope.
  • Request specific revisions only where the deal allows them.
  • Approve satisfactory delivery or use the issue/dispute route if the parties cannot resolve a material problem.
Important: The live deal screen controls any review window or deadline; do not rely on an older Help Centre timing.

Delivery and proof

When the work is done the Influencer or Hub marks the deal as delivered and attaches evidence suited to the deal type. For a podcast feature that is the live episode link with a timestamp; for a blog review the live post address; for a newsletter mention a copy or screenshot of the sent issue with the subscriber count; for a bookshop stocking deal a photograph of the book on the shelf or in the catalogue; for a subscription box a photograph of the inclusion. Good evidence is what makes approval quick.

The review window

The Pioneer then has a review period, typically 7 days, to confirm the delivery, ask for a revision within the agreed scope, or raise a dispute. Confirming releases the funds through Stripe Connect. If the Pioneer takes no action, the funds auto-release at the end of the review period, and ZOMZEY sends reminders before that happens, typically 48 hours and 24 hours in advance. Raising a dispute keeps the funds held until the matter is resolved.

Revisions

A revision request should refer to the accepted offer: what was agreed, what was delivered, and what needs to change. Where mediation decides that work should be redone, the Influencer or Hub is given a defined chance to resubmit to the agreed standard within a new deadline. Keep every revision request and response inside the deal so the record is complete.

Common questions about the review window

How long is the review window?

The period shown on the deal page after delivery, during which the Pioneer approves, asks for revisions or raises a dispute. The exact length is set by the live platform rules and shown with the deal, so check the date there rather than assuming.

What happens when the review window ends?

If the Pioneer has not acted, the delivered work is treated as approved and the Protected Payment is released. That protects a creator or Hub who has delivered from being left waiting.

Does a revision request restart the review window?

A revision is delivered and reviewed again, so the dates move on from the new delivery. The deal page shows the current dates after each event.

Can the review window be extended?

By agreement on the deal page, in the same way as any other change to the deal. Ask early if you need more time to check a large delivery.

What should I do during the review window as a Pioneer?

Open the evidence, compare it with the accepted offer, and either approve, request specific revisions or raise a dispute before the window closes. Silence is approval, so act within the dates.

In short, the review window is the Pioneer’s time to approve or challenge delivered work, it is shown on the deal page, revisions move the dates on, and letting it lapse releases the payment.
