Use the current opportunity management controls to edit, close or cancel an opportunity when that action is available for its present state.

What you need to know

• Do not create a duplicate opportunity just to correct a simple brief detail if the existing item can still be edited.
• Once offers or a funded deal exist, some changes may be restricted because they affect another user.
• If the live screen does not offer the action you need, open a support ticket with the opportunity reference.
