How does ZOMZEY work, step by step?

This guide explains how ZOMZEY works, step by step, from joining to getting paid.

ZOMZEY works from discovery or an opportunity into a conversation, an agreed deal, protected funding, delivery and completion.

How ZOMZEY works step by step

  • A buyer can search Discover or post an opportunity describing the outcome, audience, deliverables, budget and timing they need.
  • Eligible suppliers can respond through the current Make an Offer path, and the parties can discuss fit inside ZOMZEY.
  • Once an offer is accepted, the deal progresses through the Prospect Centre and checkout/deal stages.
  • The Pioneer funds the agreed deal through ZOMZEY Protected Payments before paid work starts.
  • Delivery, approval, issues and payment remain tied to the same on-platform record.

Step one: post or find an opportunity

A Pioneer posts an opportunity describing what they want promoted, the budget and what a great result looks like. Influencers and Hubs browse opportunities that fit their audience, or are matched and invited. If the ideal partner is not yet on ZOMZEY, ZOMZEY Beacon can find them and invite them in with the opportunity already attached.

Step two: offers and agreement

Influencers and Hubs send priced offers that explain what they will deliver. The Pioneer compares the offers in the Prospect Centre, asks questions where needed and accepts the one that fits. Once an offer is accepted the terms are recorded in the deal agreement, so both sides know exactly what has been agreed.

Step three: protected payment

When the deal is agreed the Pioneer funds it. The money is taken and held securely through ZOMZEY Protected Payments, powered by PayPal and Stripe. It is not released to the Influencer or Hub straight away, which protects both sides: the Pioneer knows the money is safe until they are happy, and the Influencer or Hub knows the money is already secured before they begin.

Step four: delivery, approval and payout

The Influencer or Hub delivers the work and provides evidence inside the deal. The Pioneer reviews and approves it, and the funds are released. ZOMZEY takes its commission from the released payment, never from the Pioneer, and the balance goes to the member’s payout method. If something goes wrong, either side can raise a dispute and the money stays held until the matter is resolved.

Common questions about the process

How long does a deal take?

That depends on what is agreed. Some placements, such as a newsletter mention, can be delivered within days; a launch event or a window display is scheduled for a date both members agree. The deal record shows every deadline.

Can I talk to the other member before agreeing?

Yes. You can message a member about an opportunity or an offer before you accept, and keeping that conversation on ZOMZEY gives both of you a clear record of what was discussed.

What if nobody sends an offer?

Check that your opportunity has a clear brief and a realistic budget, and invite specific profiles that fit. ZOMZEY Beacon can also find and invite partners who are not yet on the platform.

Does the step by step process change for Hubs?

No. A shop, venue or community follows the same step by step path: respond to an opportunity or receive an invitation, agree an offer, let the Pioneer fund the Protected Payment, deliver the placement with dated evidence and get paid on approval.

Does the step by step process change with an Agency?

The agency pitches and handles the conversation, but the deal still runs step by step through acceptance, funding, delivery and release, with the represented member delivering and the agency’s share paid through ZSplit.

Where can I see each step by step on the platform?

On the deal page, which shows the current stage, whose turn it is and the dates that apply. Follow it step by step and the deal page tells you what to do next.
